Meet Maneesh Kumar
Lean Six Sigma Trainer and Professor of Operations Management at Cardiff Business School.
Prof. Maneesh Kumar’s research interests are on the broader areas of Operational Excellence including Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 for sustaining high performance. His most recent applied research has focused on ‘frugal innovation’ through application of Industry 4.0 technologies and Lean Six Sigma tools to transition maintenance operations of global airports to Airport 4.0.
His approach to solving high-impact complex Operational problems of industry through a scientific and evidenced-based research has led him to win Cardiff University’s Celebrating Excellence Awards 2018 in the category of 'Excellence in Teaching including Training & Development'.
